AMAZON
RIVER: Wonderful and challenging. Natives who have been neglected
by civilization inhabit it. The river is the only highway, and
the boat is the only transportation. The State of Amazonas is
not serviced by roads, only by rivers, which contain 20% of the
world's fresh water supply. This is also where over 1000 tributaries
come together to form the Amazon River. And it is in these rivers
where our mission trips take place. Not only in the Amazon but
the Solimoes, Negro, Cuieiras and Madeira rivers just to name
a few.
You do not need to be in a health care profession to be a part of the mission trip. MDs, DDS, Nurses and Pharmacists are welcomed and we are never short of things to do during the trips.
You may bring along supplies such as used clothing for children and adults, tennis shoes, school supplies, vitamins, toys, soccer balls, soccer uniforms, caps, hygiene supplies, etc. Everything is needed and will be most welcomed.

Trips are organized between February-November every year, but need to be booked in advance. Please contact us and will help you organize your group or include you in a group and make all the contacts needed. The World Hope Missions Ministry is grateful for your participation and welcomes you with open arms.
You do not need to be a Presbyterian to help us to spread the Gospel of Jesus among those who don't know him yet. The World Hope Missions Ministry has been helped by brothers and sisters from all Christian Denominations.
